Agritopia is a planned community that offers a modern village life surrounding 11 acres of urban farmland, where a tree-lined sidewalk leads you to a chef-driven restaurant, where creative spaces encourage craftsmanship, and where charming homes nestle close. People live, work, eat, shop, create, and come together all in one place.

Epicenter will form the urban core of Agritopia. Spanning nearly 20 acres and rising five stories high, Epicenter will be the only destination of its kind in Gilbert. Firmly rooted in Agritopia’s ideals of village life for people of all ages and all stages, Ground-level spaces will offer shops (that's us!), health clubs, yoga centers, restaurants, and cocktail bars. Above the retail and dining storefronts will be luxury apartments. And everywhere will be sidewalks and pathways connecting Epicenter to the rest of Agritopia. It reminds us of our home in Tucson surrounded by other small businesses gathered together in one place.

History

Why I Love Where I Live's founder Kristin was born and raised in the Phoenix area and married a native Tucsonan. Together she and her husband Alex launched a retail boutique out of a growing love for the city they and their family call home. 

In 2023, Kristin and Alex bridged the gap between the cities they’ve called home and grow new roots to open a second Why I Love Where I Live location in Gilbert, joining the Epicenter family at Agritopia.
